Ill Child Rescued at Sea

Ok - I know a child can get sick. And getting the child from 1,000 miles off shore to a Dr. with a sailboat will be too slow.

So I see a picture of the whole family in what looks like a rescue boat. Then I read that their sailboat sank after taking on water.

So I am thinking what the heck is the truth. I am now thinking their boat was sinking and they made up a story about the child being ill.

Something is bogus.

Yup, your thought process. The boat was sunk after they were rescued as it was a navigational hazard.

Goes to show how sometimes thinking out loud can be dangerous....

You need to read the whole story before you make up funky assessments.

Eric has been a long time member here on the CF a lot of us communicate with. And we've watched his progress as a licensed Captain over the years. He's not that kind of guy. He would admit his failures, not manipulate.

What is especially amazing is how they convinced four highly trained medics to go along with their story!

Hey that's just speculation. We don't know that for sure.

Re: Ill child rescued at sea

This is not some big conspiracy theory. A family lost their home and have a seriously ill child. There is no reason to question any of their judgement or intentions at this time.
