Once you get outside I would keep going until I got to St Mary's Inlet. There is a nice anchorage inside and to the north behind Cumberland Island or get a slip at Fernandina. It will take too long to come inside and back out again along the SC/Ga coast for it to make that worthwhile.
Then you can go down the ICW
or outside as weather
and crew demand. But in any case go outside from Lake Worth
to avoid the dozens and dozens of bridges.
St Augistine, Port Canaveral, Ft Pierce and Lake Worth
are all fairly easy in and out spots with anchorages
near the inlet.
