Re: What'd You Do to Your Boat Today ?

Cruised the Internet looking for a replacement anti-stall device for the high pressure injector pump. Reason: bleed screw sheered off yesterday during post-filter-change bleeding procedure. Found and ordered replacement. When arrives, install, bleed, start, adjust anti-stall device. Then move on to the next project.

Re: What'd You Do to Your Boat Today ?

Connected the batteries up and charged them a while.
Found the tarps covering the boat had ripped up so retired them (don't expect it to last).
Expoxied the mount for my freezer lid so maybe I can use the lift arm instead of cord to hold it up (doubtful but worth a try)
Reprogrammed my battery monitor as found the high voltage alarm set point was too low if using the battery charger (first time in a year have used the charger)
Ran the bilge and shower sump pumps to drain the small amount of water collected the past 2 months.
Looked at the bottom paint to brace myself for that in month or so.

Water was leaking into my forward cabin. Eventually noted that water came from the anchor locker through the drain opening when moving faster than six knots. Had a tray built higher in the locker so as to raise the drain.

Grading papers today. Erghhh. But happy to report that got out out sailing four times in January, including a couple overnights. Light air, mostly, except for one good howler where we had the wrong jib up.

Hoping to haul out this month. My diver reports that I'm down to gelcoat in a few spots.
