I've seen the pictures of anchoring my 4wd on the beach, what scope do you suggest?

Re: What if Dwelling on Land Were the Exception Rather Than the Rule?

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I have never lived on land and would like to get some pointers on just how i should go about it. I read somewhere track homes are a great start but really have never been in one. I am leaning more towards a mansion as they seem to be more land worthy with the wider foundations and all. So my question is: pitched roof or flat roof? I dunno, living on land doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. Is it possible to do it on $500 a month?

How do you get to sleep? Your house doesn't rock and I can't hear waves?

My kayak won't move! My surfboard is stuck!

How do you know where the wind is coming from-you can't feel it in here? I can't breathe!

Re: What if Dwelling on Land Were the Exception Rather Than the Rule?

Where is the "best" place to live on land?

I have spent $500k on a Condo, it is made of veneered MDF and is brouchure rated to survive Volcanos, Earthquakes and Zombies - why do the locals now call me El Numpty?

Which scatter cushions should I build my house around?

Do they have land outside the USA?...or should I take some with me?

Will the Govt send armed paramilitaries to inspect my toilet at random times 24/7 - including whilst I am sitting on it, in order to keep me Free?

How do I get training and a Govt license to use a toilet?

If the trees aren't moving does that mean I'm not dragging? I ran my dishwasher and the watermaker hasn't kicked on yet! How does the mailman find my house? What sort of bottom paint do you recommend? Does my trash really get picked up by someone? What is the fetch on my street? Capt Phil

Why do you buy chemicals dump them on the green after you cut down the trees. Then you cut this grass and bag it toss it out ? You say you hate to get stuck cutting the grass but you want to buy a bigger place? Then spend more time and money doing this? I don't get it.
