I want to "get away from it all" but stay with everyone else doing the same thing - so my plan is to move between carparks.

I want to move my house to another country - one where I will be welcomed with open arms for simply gracing them with my presence and not "picked on" to pay taxes.

Where do you drop your air contidioner in? How do you keep it warm in the winter? Who cleans the bottom, and how often do you have it done? Do your portholes open?

WHERE'S THE MAST??????

Re: What if Dwelling on Land Were the Exception Rather Than the Rule?

I have a 3 litre Harley Davidson with a sidecar and trailor - does anyone have any tips for fitting it into my Condo? I am on the 27th floor and although it will not fit in the elevator / lift I have measured the bathroom window and all I have to do is remove 4 foot of wall (there is a large concrete lintle that that appears to serve no purpose), can someone post photos of the ramp they used?

I live in a suburban area on a cul de sac. I plan to open a bar and restaurant in my garage to top up my living kitty. I dont plan to get a liqour license or retaurant license. If I run it as a cash business I wont even have to pay taxes. What do you think?

Also I am British with no us visa and my house is in San Diego. Can I register my house in Malaysia and avoid those pesky real estate taxes?

Ys, people flip them all the time, but there's no longer any money in it!

My heat just came on again. I looked all around the house but can't see water pumping...do I shut it down?? How do I know if it's pump is working?  and my refrigerator keeps shooting water & ice from a hole in the door. What's with that? Is it broken??

(there is a pan -maybe part of the bilge- in the bathroom where water from the engine must drain. It's soo warm I sit in it-ahh!! Don't know what it is but it feels great!!

Re: What if Dwelling on Land Were the Exception Rather Than the Rule?

I've been lurking on the is forum for sometime. Alot of positive things are said about two stories instead of one. If I buy a two story, should it have a Rocna foundation or cement?

This is a question for the ladies only! How do I shave my legs while on land and how often do you normally have to wash your hair?

Re: What if Dwelling on Land Were the Exception Rather Than the Rule?

Is there a kind soul out there who would let me come and live with them in their "land-box' for a while to see what kind of adjustments i would have to make? Please, no negativity from anyone telling me that i am too old to do this change of lifestyle, i feel that it is not out of the question for someone of my age to be able to sit in a grotty old chair watching tv all day until i die of boredom.

Coops.

Re: What if Dwelling on Land Were the Exception Rather Than the Rule?

I have a problem with all this air leaking into the house. I cant find the pump and level switch to get out the excess air. Has anyone installed a rising damp system to help keep the house wetter?

My neighbor's house must be a cat-it never heels.

What kind of bottom paint should I use?

Does anyone know here the zincs are on this place?
