I spent some time in the Everglades in February, a great place for photos.

The alligators were wary of me, but I was able to get fairly close to them...



Saw a lot of wading birds--here's a Snowy Egret fishing from a log. He would wait for the current to bring him a minnow to spear...

What I am posting now is all from my wife Josie so that is a Canon 7D Mk.II with a 100-400mm zoom. This gives 640mm equivalent so you are way ahead Trouble is that we forgot to bring the tele-converters back to Panama which could've extended our reach

I was photographing this Goldfinch when a bee decided to chase him off.

Some pictures from a 10 hour day sail last weekend. I like using the fish-eye lens on the boat, you capture a lot more of on the boat action.

Went out about 28 miles south of Long Island. Coming back, the wind lightened up a bit, so I broke out the asym. Had a great 4 hour sail with it up.



Took this sailing back towards the inlet.
