Welcome to the forum.
The voltage difference should not have any effect. Are you getting any sort of picture?. Are both the tv and DVD player set to the same standard (PAL or other)? Is the ,tv tuned to the right signal from the DVD player ?

Re: 12V DVD into a 110 V TV?

I had no picure at all until I put in an RF Modulater, now I have a black and white picture that is "jumpy". The TV doesn't have a yellow input jack, it has a green, but the DVD does not (it is six years old), so I ran it through the modulater and have what I described above......I'm thinkin of getting a new DVD player but it works perfectly,,,,,,any suggestions

Get a TV that is set up with the proper jacks (red, white, yellow). TV's are cheap now. Especially the boat size. Some are even 12V too.

Get a television or computer monitor with video ports that are the same so you do not have to do a conversion. It is not necessary for each device to have the same voltage that powers it for it to work.

Re: 12V DVD into a 110 V TV?

Green input? Maybe that is for PAL not NTSC?

Voltages won't matter, you need to match signal types. An RF modulator is converting the standard line outputs to an analog antenna/cable level but if your TV has a normal antenna/cable coaxial input, you should just be feeding the DVD player's coaxial output to that input, not converting.

You really need to find out what inputs/outputs are on each device, find the proper name for them or post pictures of them. Just guessing and speculating won't get you the right answer very quickly. With the correct names, or pictures, it should be simple. (And reliable.)
