Re: Minimum requirements for "international" travel.

I think I have some relevant info for you...

While sitting in a rest stop on I95, several sharply dressed fellows wearing red asked me to point them towards Florida. I gave them directions, and they then apologized profusely, climbed back aboard their mooses, and headed south.

SAIL AWAY NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

Re: Minimum requirements for "international" travel.

Folks - his last thread was an off-the-wall idea of leaving a sailboat in the ice in a lake somewhere and using it instead of a cottage.

Don't feed the trolls.

Re: Minimum requirements for "international" travel.

Is it possible that this is Donald Trump and they really don't want him back in Florida? All this BS is sounding a bit familiar. Sounds like it's a criminal on the run.

But please do stay out of Canada where those that are ready to die because of their age are doing so at a far less vigorous rate than where you are.

Re: Minimum requirements for "international" travel.

Onlooker, don’t get discouraged by the unpopularity of the path you have chosen. Many are yet to break free of the ties of miss information. As long as people are confortable getting fed information to the mouth, they’re bound to digest the wrong thing. It breaks my heart to see civilization crumbling down under the lack of understanding but I often remember I too was there one.
Try noonsite, it is a good source to look into the entry requirements of any country.

Who wants to get an RT-PCR test that test for Exosomes anyway?

Re: Minimum requirements for "international" travel.

Onlooker, might I suggest you buy your boat, and set sail for Cuba? It's got the nice warm climate that you crave, is a workers paradise, and they'll give you a nice warm room to live in for free! You won't even have to pay moorage on your boat, since they will have seized it, and will be selling it to pay for your accommodations, so no need to go to the trouble of trying to sell it yourself. A Win Win for You, for Canukistan (as you label it), and for the United States as well! Not so much of a win for Cuba, but maybe you can apply for citizenship after your incarceration. Oh, and Canada probably won't be much help rescuing you, as their probably pretty glad they're rid of you anyway!

Re: Minimum requirements for "international" travel.

I’ve read a sampling of your references here in attached and none of them say what you espouse, in fact most of them tell a completely difference story. Please keep your bs of a sailing site.

To the Canadian trying to find loopholes, just don’t do that. Get your test, follow the rules. You are embarrassing the rest of us.

If you feel “unfortunate” being a Canadian, then please emigrate, we don’t want you.

I'm a little confused. You seem to have everything figured out, but you still haven't mentioned what anchor you'll be using or what guns you'll be carrying.

What's your YouTube channel? I'd love to subscribe.

Re: Minimum requirements for "international" travel.

Why the OP and so many others go out of their way to make doing normal activities difficult, just follow the procedures in place, such as, if you want to go to the Bahamas, it is required that you have a negative test result within five days before arrival, and a second negative test within five days after you check in, and you have to fill out the required health visa information, etc. We did it, it was very easy to do, yes we spent money to comply. But you seem to think doing things in a round about fashion is preferable, boggles the mind to watch the Dunning Kruger gang push on the door that says pull to open on it. Oh by the way what’s your boat name, so we can avoid you like the plague.

Fair winds,

Re: Minimum requirements for "international" travel.

Covid nonsense? The U.S. had only 95,000 Covid deaths in January. We've had more deaths from this virus than battle deaths from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Spanish American War, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, and the Gulf Wars and Afghan Conflict combined (but not the Civil War). Any you're whining about needing a test to travel. If that's nonsense, go home and don't come back.

Re: Minimum requirements for "international" travel.

As others have suggested, there is a good chance that trolling is in evidence here, and responding directly to the OP surely only encourages the behavior. I suspect that the OP might not be what he, she, it claims to be and is only continuing the dialogue for some perverse pleasure. Unfortunately, posting the misinformation regarding Covid can do actual damage. I suggest that the OP join a more appropriate group for his, her, its interests; perhaps Marjorie Taylor Green's blog?

I am a proud Canadian! and avid sailor on LaDivina!
Be aware that Canadian citizens or landed immigrants can stay up to 180 days/year in the USA!
If one leaves the US prior to the 180 days you have to stay out of the Country for a minimum of 30 days !
Otherwise your days so called out of the US do not count as being away!
The custom officer has the right to put you on the black list of you cheat!
Sorry, but go by the rules, much easier,
