Hand Embosser

In preparation for international cruising, I have been advised to obtain a hand embosser to create a raised seal on official papers.
What is the normal information to be on the seal?
1) VESSEL NAME
2) DOCUMENTATION NUMBER
3) ?
4) ?
5) ?

3. Home Port
4. (If you like) Outline of Boat or other Graphic

I have a rubber stamp, with all four.

G'Day Cap'n,

I might suggest that a rubber stamp will be more useful than the embosser, although the latter is kinda classy at times. The reason is that we found our stamp to be useful to mark books, charts and other bits that one might not want to, or be able to, emboss.

We found that in many third world countries the officials took great pleasure in stamping away on our papers, and usually found it amusing when we 'stamped back' at them! All in good fun...

Cheers,
