Is there a difference between the COLREGS demarcation lines and the boundary line defined in 46 C.F.R. PART 7 established by homeland security? If you don't know what I'm talking about you can google 46 C.F.R. PART 7. |

Boundry lines and demarcation lines are different. Demarcation lines mark the change between inland rules of the road and international rules of the road. Boundry lines generally follow the seaward highwater marks, outside the entrances to bays and inlets etc. With some exceptions ( gulf of mexico) U.S. Boundary Line See Link above. Tempest... |
