So really they should call them 175 boats so that someone might actually find some info on them. Thanks for decoding the world for me buddy. Sorry I won't be seeing you guys this winter I will be running one of said "t" boats on the coast of Maine...brrrrrr.

I've been studying for my captain's license and am up to my eyeballs in arcane nautical factoids; glad I could put it to use for someone.

Sounds like it will be good experience. I've never sailed off the coast of Maine. You're doing that in the winter? Sounds... kind of masochistic?

So, how does a Live Sound Engineer morph into a commercial Ship's Captain?

Ben's family has been working in the Maine maritime world for (I think) a century or so. Plus he's a charming fellow.
