What would you call this...

Sorry, I need to order a cover for a cockpit drain that comes out my hull above the water line. It's stainless, has three screws that hold it in place, and keeps water from backing up in it when moving forward. I thought it would be a scupper cover but not finding anything listed like that.

How about trying something like "drain flow director"? I've found "dumbing down" search words seems to help. Good luck with it.

Scupper valve ?

I'll try that. It functions like this except it's just a surface mounted half dome cover made out of stainless with three screws that hold it to the fiberglass

I googled "scupper valve" and "deck drain flapper" both seemed to get same hits for a "scupper flapper" https://www.google.com/search?q=scup...+flapper+valve

Thanks, I checked that also. This cover doesn't have a flapper or ball in it. It just keeps splashing water from going up the drain through hull.

Do you have a Pic of the drain exit that you are covering?

Thanks all, it was clamshell cover. Perfect, found it on Amazon w/ prime delivery for $8. Can't beat it.
