Would you have or do you have a yeti solar

Hubbie is looking at a goal zero yeti solar generator. He is not sure if this something that is needed and if so how much use wouldn't get and how fast so they run down/take to recharge?

We are trying to buy what is needed now while we still have the 2incomes. We will be getting the boat next summer and this place has given us a very large list of things to buy.

I would buy the boat before buying the things to go on the boat. Once you start actually using the boat, many things you think are must haves may be not so important. Likewise something you never thought of will be critical.

Re: Would you have or do you have a yeti solar

The output is pretty limited with the small solar input and battery.
For most boats a conventional solar panel and marine battery will do much more for a lower cost.

The advantage of self contained system like the Yeti is more more for traveling, camping etc.

Thank you for the input, he has also decided that it would be less practical than initially thought. ...the whole thing started as a search for a yeti cooler....we were trying to compare it to whatever else is out there.

The search continue but with one product removed. Thanks again
