I'm curious, just where is this cold front located? Presumably somewhere in the northern hemisphere and "lows in teens" suggest USA but just where...

Something is happening on NW coast of the USA too. Storm could be bigger than all of Australia.

We live in Florida and it hit here tonight - had to actually close the sliders and windows. Brrrrrrrrrr. It's cold wearing shorts and tee shirt.

Crikey, you mean it is almost the size of the lower 48 - that's big!

I put WS at the winter dock Monday evening, winterized the fresh water system yesterday and the engine today. Usually that isn't necessary until December or January.

Guess we will have to put the covers on our BBQs tonight in the PNW. Maybe even move the patio chairs under the eaves!!!

Re: Nasty cold front movin in

I read somewhere that this is suppose to be an especially colder winter for those east of Hope BC in Canada (or as we like to say, those beyound hope). And in the states, all the northern states, except coastal areas in PNW.

The only real negative of this frigid winter is we'll have to listen to drivel from those that don't understand probability and the Bell curve, about the climate not warming up.

I am married and forgot the wife's birthday. Now I know what a real cold front is. A very chilly blast from all directions at once.

With heavy snow in the Australian Alps and heat wave conditions with temperatures to 104 degrees F in northern and central Australia.
