Just stick the wire in the hole and close the orange lever. Done

They also carry and new smaller one called Wago 221 in the same 3 sizes and is 40% smaller.
Just ordered the 3 and 5 port ones off Amazon.. Probably don't need all 90 of them but what the heck it was pretty cheap and I need to join some 120v wires to one feed and also 12v. I'll pop one open and take pictures of the insides when I get them in. I'll post them up.

I'm on my fourth refit project now. It's kind of my hobby for reasons I cannot understand myself. I figure that gives me some cred, but I haven't claimed to be a professional in this broad field, however.

I sure hope your level of professionalism doesn't descend to this, I can only assume, professional boat builder's level, revealed in all its glory once the facade was removed...

That is the dirtiest sort of low blow tactic I think I've ever seen on this forum.

What does that picture have to do with him? Nothing. So why post it?

Either you can defend your position with documented source material, or you can't. Resorting to trying to smear another poster on here to try to win an argument is reprehensible. I'm not in favor of his name calling either, but this is far worse.

Mmmm, something about the constant inference to being a hack? Note that is the first time I've used this word outside of a quote. Ditto for "misery".

I should also add we have a boat builder calling an electrical engineer a hack in reference to an electrical discussion. Kind of ironic, aint it?

Re: Ever used 3 way connectors?

For an up-coming magazine article, I just finished a bunch of fatigue testing. If I get an interesting suggestion, I'll do more.

Where do you think the failures happened?
  • A the end of the solder or crimp...
  • or at the end of the shrink wrap?
Which do you think failed first, without heat shrink?
  • Wire nut...
  • or crimp...
  • or solder?

Can you briefly describe the type of test or methodology?

Ever see a soldered joint on an aircraft? I suppose it's probably even illegal.
I guess I'm doomed! Wait...I've been soldering on boats 36 years now

Is this how you leave all your posts when someone doesn't agree with you? You take your toys and leave the sandbox? Geez dude...get flexible or at least kind.
