Hahaha, agreed although I use Fuel right. Like I Said, 2-stroke fuel that has been going for 2 years.

I don't want to jinx myself either, but I use Sta-Bil at twice the recommended rate (says right on th ebottle this doesn't hurt anything and I have four or five tiny little weedeaters, blowers, hedge timmmers etc that sit for months at a time and have yet to have any carb problems.
The green marine Sta-bil may be better than the red I don't know, it is more concentrated though

Me too. The biggest difference I noticed was on my POS cheap chainsaw. When I first bought it new for $100 I mixed the gas and filled it. 2 months later had to rebuild the carb due to it being gummed up. Now I put twice the recommended amount of stabil in with the oil and gas and it sits for 1 to 1 1/2 years between uses and always starts.

I love stabil!!!!! I talk about it enough on this forum I should ask them for a sponsorship.

my boss swears by sea foam, haven't tried it myself yet, did have an issue with our jet boat, seemed it was allergic to water, ran great on shore but would not run in the water, took the carbs apart they were all clean, turned out a little plastic elbow was clogged, something about pressure equalization. go figure.

Seafoam is also a great product! I primarily use it for cleaning and maintenance in the spray form but it is also a stabilizer and anti gel in the liquid form. I would have no qualms using it as a stabilizer but I religiously use stabil just because it has proven itself to me and its hard to break habits.
