Volvo Penta D2-55 Engine number
Is it possible to determine the production date of a Volvo Penta from the engine number, which in this case appears to be a sticker rather than a stamped number on the block.

your engine production range is 2001-2004. If you contact the dealer they can probably narrow that down...
