Yep. I'll look at it when its photos of a boat actually made, not some designers wet dream.

"Hi folks, buy your new $50 million dollar yacht. It goes 4 knots in full sunshine, 2 knots when cloudy and at night we call it 'Tidal'"

uh.. had I that sort of spare change that is not how I would spend it... maybe for someone it's a wet dream, but for me it's all washed up. I wouldn't buy a house that looked like that either. talk about a clorox bottle.

There are still dreamers around that think that dreamers will by this.........

Not yet.........

Void of any realism, void of any understanding of the sea.

As a static parkhouse in Ft Lauderdale, yes, provided you can find the space......

Not for me, for sure, but very creative. Why not? It's the stuff of dreams. I would be amazed if someone built it. But who knows.

Its seems like a lot of wetted surface area for the amount of displacement. Just in this sense alone (never mind the solar power), it makes sense why it only makes 4 knots.

Does the interior look much larger than the exterior to you? I remember a StarTrek episode where...oh, never mind, that's science fiction.

I think it needs a sail.

When I first saw it I thought it was one of those indoor dry ski slopes that we have in the UK

900m2 of solar panels 38m beam

Still not convinced it's not an indoor ski slope

It is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist and therefore aptly named.
