Royal Cape Catamarans

Anybody have any info on the Majestic catamarans? They say on the specs that thru hull fittings are stainless steel, and it is a balsa core boat. For the money, I think it looks awesome, but that means nothing.

It has been an education process and this forum is a great tool for information, the more I learn, the more difficult it is to narrow down my choices...

Happy New Year to all of us! I hope 2017 is the year for all of your dreams, it will be for me, God willing!

Re: Royal Cape Catamarans

We were on one at the 2015 boat show">Annapolis boat show.
They seemed to come fully loaded.
Nice woodwork and nice build, but they have a look only a mother could love.
Not many Majestic catamarans around.

Re: Royal Cape Catamarans

We looked at the Majestic when it made its Miami debut years ago. Huge interior but the exterior had a terrible fairing job. From what I've heard it hasn't gotten much better. After being aboard the take I had was 2 Morgan Out Island 41's tied together with a bridge deck. Not my cup of tea bet maybe someone's dream boat.

Wife and I love the look of them. I really like the back deck on 530 built for divers and fisherman. And a nice big grill.

I'm not and will never be in this price range, but that's a marina cat.

Wow don't know what happened to my autocorrect lol. The picture in the first post shows only tiny port light hatches to see thru?

Re: Royal Cape Catamarans

The windows have white sun screens so it doesn't look like a big window on the outside just a port hole but from the inside of the salon there's nice view except the section where the mast is.

Re: Royal Cape Catamarans

There are quite a few of those in my area being used as crewed charter boats. I'm told they are roomy and comfortable but don't sail particularly well. They seem a good fit for the charter market.

Re: Royal Cape Catamarans

The low bridgedeck clearance through the tunnel area should make for a noisy boat going to wind. Kind of the opposite design to Outremer or Catana. This boat looks like comfort at anchor is it's main criteria.

Oh my gosh the flybridge model weighs 70,000 lbs dry. No wonder why the video shows them motoring around.
