It was a California boat but it was a while ago, the interior was well done. I saw a center cockpit 35 listed in the 20-25.000 bracket too.and am always surprised CC boats don't go for more but think it is the usual lack of understanding about wood boats. Is yours the Vashon Is. boat? If so it might have traveled farther without floating than any other CC 35 out there.

The Condor 50 looks very nice and is blue water capable. There were only 12 made and are not inexpensive to acquire or keep up. The market for such boats is not very active. There is no perfect boat of any sort.

it was a 37, in Newport Beach and it sold for $25k. the 35 has a larger cabin as it flares over the water, the 37 was very narrow, but it was a nice boat.

Ech..
Sure she exist. As your wife do )

I would keep it simple as possible - if I travel with wife - 35' will do if longer trips planned longer LOA required
- if travel with kids - 40' would be perfect. More kids, longer trip - more meters.
Ships are usually purpose build ...

E.g. Lerouge faster - Patterson more confortable

But I could be wrong - tell me your decision making points please.

PS
I would go for around 12 meters boat - travel 2+2 - enough volume and payload - Patterson or "soften" Lerouge.
What else ??
