Ours will be a Hartley Norsk35 stretched to 38.5 feet.

We're building her in strip plank sheathed with double diagonal plywood.

When we decided to sell up and live aboard we decided we needed to sell the boat as well and find a larger one. We really loved our Nicholson 35. An elegant boat and a perfect under sail.

After having seen many boats, we decided we wanted another Nicholson. We did not aim larger than, say, a 40 footer, but after having seen a 48 we decided that this would solve all our storage problems. We found the right one sitting quite unloved in a Greek marina. We bought her and had her transported to the Netherlands by low loader as she was not seaworthy at the time.

We have given her many presents since, like new seacocks all-over, new sails, new decks, a new coat of paint on the hull, a lot of new running rigging, a lot of new varnish in the interior, new upholstery and lots more, and finally it looks like she starts loving us in return.

Fabulous sailboat, not really too large to sail between the two of us, very comfy in port and at sea. So, here she is (sister ship)

happy sailing

CSY 33 photo

Finally uploaded and posted a photo of my CSY 33.

Look above in the photo callery in "Mono-hull" section.

If I was a little bit smarter I would post it right here with the message, but no cigar...Haven't figured that one out yet...

We have a 1996 Tobago 35, rescued from charter service. Lots of work, but she's coming.
