Have a nice weekend!

I don't like very much the design of the forward part of the car but certainly Tesla deserves credit for its pioneering efforts but I do believe the true revolution will happen in Europe, namely in Germany.

I don't know if you guys now but Germany put out a law that will finish with the sell or importation of any new non electric car 13 years from now!!!!!!

Obviously they do that with the support of its Auto Industry that joined together to create a full network of electric power supply stations for cars, all over Europe.

It is on that context that you see a lot of corporate interest on the development of the Formula e (that I hate). Racing was always the better way to develop technologies for the car industry.

But the truth is that they are serious about it and they have there racing some of the best young pilots, some of them we will see on the F1 on the future.

And I don't like it because the power is not similar to a F1....but I have few doubt that in a bit more than a decade probably this electric cars will be as fast as F1 now and before that we will see Electric F1 cars. That's the way it goes

A freeway does not tell anything to me since except on some few on Germany you cannot go at more than 130km/h and if you are caught (and you will be caught) really speeding you lose your licence and in what regards really twisting roads a Ferrari is not the Machine to have, but a much lighter car, with less hp, that can go faster and giving much more fun while driving.

Look at this video and you understand what I am talking about and that is not even a twisting track. On a road the diference would be bigger.

and that was a Ferrari F40, a light Ferrari with almost 500hp.

POLUX, I am not a huge fan of sports cars, and I really do detest "A" and her sheer impudence, but I DO like your blog! Keep it up!

Our other car is a Mazdaspeed Miata, it's the Miata turbo that was only built for two years, not the high speed Monster, but a lot of fun on a track day.

Gibraltar seizes Russian's superyacht over German debt claim

Gibraltar seizes Russian's superyacht over German debt claim - BBC News

Quote:
Gibraltar has impounded a Russian billionaire's superyacht - one of the world's biggest - because the German shipbuilder says he still owes 15.3m euros (£13.3m; $16.3m) in fees.
The claim has kept Andrey Melnichenko's Sailing Yacht A stuck in Gibraltar, a British territory, since Wednesday.
His spokesman voiced confidence that the order would be lifted soon.

We've got a Miata too. Just a blast to drive & reliable as hell. I owned a 1960 Porsche 356 & my Miata is just as fun to drive. Just not as cool.

Some boats are jinxed like that. Expect more and similar adventures as soon as she goes sailing. If she ever does.
