Ha, with a 6.5m waterline bet that stops dead in the water in a short choppy sea. I await the you tube videos of it sailing in challenging conditions of wind over tide.

Still multiply it up t 40 feet and it would make a great area for a double cabin in the bow. Future 40ft quad cabins to squeeze the charters in perhaps.

It is what is called a pram bow, what we would see on a boat like an El Toro. Pram bows provide more buoyancy forward than traditional V-bows.

You won't see any. This is the boat built for (mostly) downwind tradewind sailing. And she is doing just that. Very well.

Please do not show this picture to all those on the coconut milk run. They may get pretty pissed off ;-)

BTW ! Surprisingly ! The qualifiers were a mixture of upwind, downwind and tidal races and she did perform very well too ...

Keep the nose shallow and you will slide over the chop. Cutting through is sooo last century.

Find a way to plane the nose up over the sea and you have a winner. Maybe a trimmed fin on the keel? Or a foil like a canard on the bow.
