Antifouling Yacht

Hi,

I had a 39' FG yacht some years ago and now have got the bug to get back on the water. im looking at purchasing a larger yacht now around 51'. I like most antifouled my past yacht myself.
Im getting older now and i am worried how much more work it would be to antifoul the larger yacht myself.
Can anyone give me some advise on what type of tools i can use to speed up the process doing it myself.
I know i will have to sand back the existing antifouling and most slips wont let you sand it dry.
What type of sanders are the best to use here and could anyone give me an estimate how long it would take to do the job myself.

Cheers Grahame

Re: Antifouling Yacht

Hey Graham welcome to the forum....I hire the bottom work done...at our marina there are some local and some Syrian guys that will work for between 10 and 50 USD per day.
