Sailboats for Elderly Cruising Couple

I was probably in Baghdad when you were in your Dad's bag, but I'm still not elderly.

Sailing is easier as you go along because at some point there is nothing left to learn the hard way.

I'd like to recommend the Taiwans as grandparent boats. Hans Christian 34-36, Union 36, Tayanas, Babas and I believe they'd all be great on the Intercoastal, very hard to damage going to ground. Lots of handholds easy to get around deck, safe companionways, might have to come to the left coast to get one, but we have some adequate cruising areas to seatrial.
