My mast leaks

We are having bad rain in Florida 27 days straight of rain . MY 384 Morgan has a leak . I suspect the mast boot ! mast is keel stepped.
Any advice on sealing is welcome. Lee Nicholas Tarpon Springs boat is WindRose

I'm in Gainesville and feel your pain. Starting to wonder if it will ever stop raining.

Temporarily get some duck tape, if you can get the mast dry enough to get the tape to stick.

Then order an SSI mast boot and some white, self amalgamating tape like rescue tape or similar. Better if you can install it with the mast out but you can cut it and wrap it with the mast in.

Yes, the SSI mast boot is fine. Be sure to use some sealant in any groove/mast track etc between the boot and the mast. It will be leak free.

Take a look at waterboot.com also. Worked better for us than the SSI.

Spartite seems like a good option. www.spartite.com
Flexane is a similar product, maybe cheaper. flexane
Read some reviews and of course follow instructions to the letter.

I installed Spartite maybe 12-14 years ago and it has worked great. Not a drop of leakage. Bad side, very expensive. Up to $185 depending on boat. I don't recall mine being that expensive but that was years ago.
