This is why I spent real money on a mustang inflatable life jacket that will roll me upright even if I am out cold. It has a harness too so maybe I won't go over the side in the first place. I even wear it most times.

That boat looks like it has the remains of a bridle attached on the foredeck, like it was on a mooring, line chafed through, and dragged.

I hope the guy turns up and is okay.

Yeah I agree it doesn’t look like it was sailing anywhere and unless someone tidied it up it looks like the hatch is closed too.

In addition to the broken lines at the bow and closed hatch, the furled sails and fenders out suggest that it was moored.



It also looks as though there is a canvas draped over the cabin top and tied down.



Hopefully the guy was ashore when it happened and will turn up.
