Welcome to the forum. Was that 27 feet or meters? The boat in the photo looks to be more than 27 feet and less than 27 meters.

Re: Brand / type sailboat?

Judging by the guy walking the dock, it looks to be around 36-38Ft?

If you google the name of the boat you can sometimes find a blog that a owner has written and sometimes they say in their blog what type of boat they have. I also do not think it is a Morgan because of the different size port lights. It is definitely bigger then 27 or that guy walking by is only two feet tall.
Good Luck!

Googles some pics and true enough - not even close.

I haven't a clue what a Robertson 27 looks like, but the boat in the pic is closer to 40' then 27'.

Haha, I tried that but I can't make out the name; too blurry

Not a HR in any case. If European then maybe something French or British.

It sure looks a lot like something Ted Irwin would have designed.

Re: Brand / type sailboat?

I think it's called "Second Nature" , but googling that produces only a much more racy New Zealand yacht.

Re: Brand / type sailboat?

If you google '1979 Hallberg Rassy 41' a similar looking boat comes up.

Round coaming and no sprit. I could be wrong, but none of the trademarks of a Halberg Rassy, even the 70's era.

These two are old Morgans as well..
as for the 'windows'.. I had crap plastic opening ports on my Hunter.. leaked like crazy.. so I removed the and recut the holes and screwed Lexan in over the larger rectangle holes..
As for the where.. the headland in the background is familiar but I can't place it..

Re: Brand / type sailboat?

Could it be a Whitby 42? Looks pretty close in shape, but the windows aren't quite right....still though...it might be...what does the crowd think?
