We are in the process of replacing our Lectrasan. So I have been researching type I and Type II. We have. 42'
trawler, with two heads one going to a 20 gallon
holding tank and the Lectrasan having a Y valve to either flow
overboard or into another 20 gallon
holding tank.
We
cruise most of the time in the Chesapeake, which has brackish
water. My concern with replacing the Lectrasan with a new Electroscan is that I've read there are issues with knowing when the
salt levels were just right.
I'd really like to find something that is low
maintenance and doesn't have a huge footprint.
Any suggestions? I will be going to the
Annapolis power boat show to talk to vendors, but I'd love to hear some of your views. I don't mind paying more for quality and
reliability. Thanks!
