Allied 42
Anyone know anything about Allied 42's? I saw my first the other day and she was quite the looker. Appeared to be an old S&S, CCA-type centerboard design. If they're built as well as Allied's other products then I'm surprised you don't hear more about these boats.

I have a buddy of a buddy at a local boat yard who has a A42 for sale at a steel, so I would also like some opinions please.

The Allied 42s are very nice boats, well built and designed. I had a similar Bristol 40 for 15 years and sailed it to the Med. But ther're not new!
