When we (humans) can manage our current issues, like overfishing, rampant consumerism, pollution from plastics and nano crud that impact the entire food chain then maybe we can think longer term.

I find the abuse and misunderstanding of scientists and good science to be abhorrent.

The mass media and it's worshippers are a disease for which we need to find a cure. We seem to be dumming down more and more people who end up in positions of power and they make stupid decisions.

The whole global warming thing has been hijacked by the 'business' of science primarily to ensure funding in perpetuity for research instead of problem solving.

Funny how after just over 100yrs of recording climate man is convinced he knows all there is to know about how things work..
Reminds me of the Christians response to finding the body of an 8'000yr old baby in Europe.. or anything else older than 6000yrs come to that..

I would not be concerned.

After 1980, however, the Earth's temperature exhibits a remarkably steep rise, while the Sun's irradiance displays at the most a weak secular trend. Hence the Sun cannot be the dominant source of this latest temperature increase, with man-made greenhouse gases being the likely dominant alternative.
