Hey - You made it, yes? That's all that counts.

For fun I put a little less dodgy version of the route for future reference. The green lines are the major freeways for the second busiest shipping port on the planet.

To be fair Mark did sms me and ask about the route. I didn't have much useful info except, Stay away from the live firing range and the 7 trillion gallons of gas stored on the refinery island or there may be a caning in your future - LOL...

Salamat Pagi! (good morning), or should I say at this hour there, Salamat malam! (good evening). I'm glad you made it through your overly interesting transit of the harbor. I can barely remember the bahasa indonesian, which I'm told is nearly identical to Malay. It is all in present tense so shouldn't be too hard to pick up. Good luck and keep those reports coming.

It is. But they don't use Bahasa here in Malaysia!
In a shop the other day getting a shore power plug and I asked "Berappa?" (Price?) and the man behind the counter didn't understand!!!!!!! Nicolle had to traslate into english! "Oh: PRICE! Yeah, 8 RM......"
