After reading this thread and having my interest piqued I bought Vincent Bugliosi's book. After reading it, I don't know if the man is a genius or an idiot. I don't think there's any way that his client wasn't involved in the murders, yet he claims that he would not have represented her if he believed she was guilty. He was either completely deceived by her, or is intentionally deceiving the people who read his book.

I read his book, I start thinking hard to believe the women was not involving that murder since her attitude toward her own trial. Mr. Bugliosi really believed her?,,,,,

He was incredulous over her attitude, I didn't find it all that surprising, she was guilty and had accepted her fate. She was just a psychopath, so she showed no emotion over it.

Sorry (again) for not checking in sooner.

It's been 27 years since "Sea Wind" sank in Keehi Lagoon. It's been 1 1/2 years since I made that post stating that you could still see her on GoogleEarth.

I just looked at the current GoogleEarth images and it's unclear if she is still there. The image in 2017 was more clear. There is always the chance that the hull has been removed by now.

I generally hate to ask a silly question - but does that satellite photo show sunken boats at all of those moorings? if so, that's some calamity...

Thanks Kanani, it is fascinating to hear what you experienced in Palmyra. i assume that you mean that you repaired the rudder there in Palmyra? Somehow, i'm unable to see the picture.

I’ll probably get called a liar for not being alive then, but I actually did make love in a canoe in Carroll County, Mississippi in 1976 with my future wife. It was actually pretty fun!

Working around the thwarts was the hard part and at one point, I considered that if the canoe capsized, we might drown.

But, at 18, you will risk death for that without hesitation!!

I know I'm coming into this 3 year old thread a little late... but what are you referring to? What is Palmyra?


I used to live there, near Palmyra, in Syria, left just as the war started. But the only water within hundreds of miles is a natural oasis where they grow date palms.


Obviously you're talking about something else... with ghosts!
