WALKER BAY ROWLOCKS/OARLOCKS-I'M STUCK!

Recently removed the plastic oarlocks/rowlocks from my WB RID310...now they don't want to 'lock' back in when replaced. Have looked at the instructions which just seems to say to twist them in...but it's not working. Can anyone help please?!!

Maybe they are side specific and you have them reversed ?

Walker Bay oarlocks are awful. I threw mine away immediately and replaced them with some real bronze oarlocks with locking pins. Work much better than the stock ones ever did.

i wish i had the bronze ones--i am using rubber hosing--fuel hose this time--to fill the gap... so far, so good.

Re: WALKER BAY ROWLOCKS/OARLOCKS-I'M STUCK!

Our club has five Walker Bays. We changed out the oar lock sockets a couple years ago and never looked back. We first made teak blocks to replace the plastic. When they broke we went to galvanized steel. They work but bronze would be better.
kind regards,
