Need a Map on My Blog

Hi folks:
I have seen other sailing blogs that feature a map on which one's sailing track can be shown and updated as one sails about the world. I would like to add one to my sailing blog but have not found the utility yet (after lacklustre search).
I want to be able to show my route and add my latest track each time I update the blog.
Can't be very difficult but so far beyond me.
Any help appreciated.
My blog is a Wordpress deal: Soul Upon the Ocean if that makes any difference.

Tried Skipr but too much trouble for anyone wondering where I am. They need to go to another site. I'd like a photo of a world map showing where I am whenever I post. I know there must be something.

You can also customise a google map by logging into Google and creating your own My Map. Then add marker(s) and you can embed it on your website by grabbing the code from a text box on the left of the map. Google has complete instructions in their Help pages.

Looks like BlurbBits is a very nicely configured version of it.
