I should hope so lol.

Total respect to the man for his accomplishments, but I am left wondering why one would want to spend more than two years circling the globe three times without stopping. I'm not critical of it, just mystified. There's a certain psychology at work here, certain motivations, which are opaque to me.

Next person to have a beer with him, please ask. I want to know!

Its amazing how we are all wired differently. I just cant imagine spending that amount of time non stop at sea.
In a way i envy him, not for his around the world accomplishments but the fact that he is that content to spend so much time alone for that long with so few distractions.

Amazing. Sure would like to meet him. And I'd sure like to see what kind of food he packed in those 3 tonnes for 2 years!

There is actually a pretty straight forward back story here, which is not hidden, but also not publicized. It is not my place to tell it. Let's just say when he was younger he was a bit of a mismatch with western Australia norms.
