Finding others who are sailing from Panama to Australia this season

Hello all,

We'll be sailing from Panama sometime in March back to Oz. I know there are the rallies that do this but I'm interested in finding ways of locating other boats that are making the trip independently.

Are there places where we can enter our details for this? It would be amazing to know there are others crossing the same time and have Sat email / phone details for them.

I'm just thinking in terms of safety how people get in touch to share such info?

Regards,
Simon

Latitude 38's "Pacific Puddle Jump" does exactly this, with entrants departing from Panama, Mexico and other places. Check their web site for a link.

When you get to the San Blas or to Shelter Bay you will have plenty of company.
