The secret to cast iron keel maintenance is to use anti foul the same colour as rust. That way you don't notice so much.

uncomplicated seems to be included in low maintenance, which is a good thing....

Oh, yes - you will. One day your boat will displace only half of its designed weight, for a short moment though.
