Ram! I don't know about the Knats(noseeems) but Victoria Secret sells a Spay on scent called Amber Romance that runs those little nastys right off !! And it's even smells sorta nice !! lots of marsh fishermen use down here and the oil inland crew guys buy it by the case it works so well! down here ya have to order it a week or two in advance cus it's always gone LOL if ya don't mind smellin like a French HO House it's the thing to use !!

Couple of pieces of toast slathered with Vegemite and stuck to either side of your face will indeed prevent a hangover.......no self respecting bar tender will serve you looking like that,,,,,also makes a really good birth control.

There is always gin and tonic. Try it. Maybe it's the tonic I don't know. But one ( at least) just before dusk and no bytes. Preferably Indian Tonic.

"Indian Tonic" water used to contain Quinine: Gin & Tonic became popular with the landed gentry in India as Quinine is a treatment for malaria, it is also what makes the tonuc water have an odd UV glow in certain lights. Not sure that G&Ts themselves keep the mozzies away - however Bombay Sapphie is so heavily perfumed it wouldn't surprise me if it did. Gin, when drunk in quantity over a long period, can result in erectile dysfunction which used to be a common complaint of the very same gentry in India!
