Rotating Battery Positions

All,

Is it worthwhile to rotate the batteries through several positions in the bank? We have four batteries that are connected in a series/parallel configuration.

The reason I am asking is that I notice that the batteries closest to the charge sources tend to get charged better and seem to have less problems with varying specific gravities.

Re: Rotating Battery Positions

If that is happening I'd take a look at your jumper wires between the batteries. They should be large enough to have virtually no voltage drop.

Ideally cross connecting the bank will help level this out... All negs from one end and all positives from the other end..
