Re: Real Time AH Use

Ah counter is built into my charge controller. About 35 to 45 ah a day anchored or underway.
All led so doesn't change my power usage. Running lights are about equal to anchor light in usage.

Re: Real Time AH Use

Most full-fledged battery monitors include AH counting.

But what is measured depends where it is installed.

Most AH-counting solar controllers only know about loads running off their terminals, not elsewhere.

The ideal is a full-fledged battery monitor that collects info from and/or centrally controls all the charge controllers.

But again, just to measure AH consumption over 24hrs, a cheap AH counter is all that's required.

my whole boat runs thru the solar controller it handles up to 30 amp draw and everything running at the same time is less than 15 amps.
( Remember I'm a classic with minimal electronics and electrical. )

Yes just laying out the general case for all readers now and in the future, not your specific setup.
