Multiple Cables on Battery Terminal

I'm installing a new house battery bank. What is the proper way to install multiple cables on a 5/16" threaded battery terminal? More than two cables leaves only a few threads for a hex nut. Thanks.

A DC buss bar. There really should not be a need for more than two cables on a battery post. With series parallel or parallel banks you get two per post but beyond that just use a buss bar or a power post.

Ignore the fact that this was from a battery monitor article the buss bars are what I am trying to show.

Excellent post Maine Sail!

I'll bet you had more than a few people suddenly remember buss bars have their uses aboar boats, me included.

With more people adding solar, wind, battery banks, etc to their boats, we'll be seeing many more boats using them.
