Identify Wind Genny Please

Does anyone know what brand wind generator this is?

Sorry these are the only pics of it I have.

Whatever it is, it appears to be missing some blades.
Perhaps a Rutland 913, or LVM Aerogen?

Yes Gord, it is missing a few things. Hurricane Ike, need I say more? I plan on making sure the shaft isn't bent putting a driill on it and checking the out put. If it works I need to figure out what it is so I can possibly obtain replacement blades and tail fin.

I wondered if it could be an older version of the Aerogen.

I have a Rutland 913 and from what I see I'm pretty sure that yours is another animal.
Incidentally I had to rebuild mine two years ago and as a first move I tested it for output under rotation. Only when I was satisfied with this I ordered blades etc from the makers Marlec.

'looks like a "Wind Bugger" to me. Popular in the '80's,-good output, but heavy!

First time you disappoint me Gord.
No way can the original (poor quality) 6 blade gen photo match your 3 blade Windbugger (sparkling) photo. Apart from this, the body castings are very different.

I had a windbugger and now have a Air-X and the one above is not one of those. So it is something else!

Excuse my ignorance: It looks a whole lot like an alternator with blade attached. My guess is homemade.

Homemade..... Well I guess that's possible.
Knowing what it isn't is always a good step. I'm going down to the boat next week maybe I can find some type of label when I get there.

Those blades would be a serious challenge to Heath Robinson.
Unless they were borrowed from another maker.
Maybe when you go down to the boat you can take a better picture of the beast for us to pore over.
I doubt you'll find any identifying label. The maker/model is usually on the tail fin and it looks like it's lost.
