Balmar Multi-Stage Regulator Issues

Have just had a Balmar regulator installed in our Bavaria 36.

When a load is turned on once the engine has been started the ignition light and alarm activates.

Also, the anchor winch can be driven up when the engine is off, but won't move at all when the engine is running.

Any advice welcomed.

I would give Balmar a call. I have one of the external regulators, it died last year. When I called I got a very knowledgeable guy.

I find some of their installation literature confusing, talking to the factory was helpful.
