isopropyl alcohol is rubbing alcohol and of no use in stoves. you need to go to the boat or rv store and get the gallon or whatever size they sell. i use propane, as alcohol is not of any use for real cooking. the pressure alcohol stoves have a tendency to misfuction and burn things .....

I use a pressurized alcohol stove on my boat. It is probably 30 years old but works without any problem. Since "denaturated" alcohol is, in my opinion, expensive I use methyl alcohol (99.9% pure) that can be found in most "home depot" type stores. It works fine and does not have any tendency to malfunction or burn my boat. However, it must be used properly as it has an open flame primer (I learnt it first hand). On the other hand alcohol does not have tendency to collect in the bilge. This is a trade of.
