down to a Bahia 46 or a Leopard 47

its looks like i have my choices down to a bahia 46 or a leopard 47 for our cat.We will be buying used and look to use it in the Apcific and indian ocean's.Can any one add expriences on these boats.When spending up to $500k i want to get it right.

Check under Bahia and Leopard. I am also interested in both but mostly the Bahia. I have one chartered in April and will be happy to give a review of it then.

I don't know how much of a priority cooking is for you, but the Bahia 46's galley is fairly poorly laid out. All of the counter top work space is on top of the refridgeration. So not only does it limit your work space, it put's crew in the galley when you are working every time they need a cold drink. I currently have a Bahia behind my house, and have sailed on the Moorings 4700 for a week. I prefer the Leopard.
