VentureFarther plugin still does not work

Downloaded VF plugin 2.1.1 and it still does not work.

Windows10.

Terry, please, is this for windows?

Terry I had to try it using Windows ov50 with the plugin downloaded from the website download page. I also logged into the venturefarther website and checked to be sure my api key was correct in the plugin.


I got downloads for google, bing and nokia which were saved into a special directory that I use to create a Chart Group for vfkaps. So it was easy to select the "vfkaps" chart group to display the images. You are probably more sophisticated than this because I am not a frequent user of kaps.


Anyway it works for single downloads. I did not try multi downloads.
So check your configuration. Perhaps it is also your internet connection causing troubles? But it works here.

Here's what happens when I try to generate a chart which does not get created.

Here's my API displayed. I've emailed Jon that I cannot find anywhere on the VF website to verify my API. So far no response.

OK. Found the API and got things working now.

My stupidity. When the preferences for the plugin are shown, the window is truncated. So after pasting the API key I clicked on the 'X' which closes the window without saving the API key.

It's necessary to expand the window to see the 'OK' which closes and saves the new API key.

Sorry for the bother. Hope I'm the only one to get tricked
