Problems with Chartworld Charts after upgrading to 4.8.4

Hello,

I upgraded my Intel NUC to newest windows 10 and 4.8.4 preparing for the summer season here in Norway. I also renewed my Chartworld S63 subscription to get the newest charts downloaded.

After doing all this I cant get the charts working. The computer is very slow, and it looks like cells are missing.

When I import chart cells it looks like this in the log:

This is just part of the log, and there are several similar errors. Has anybody seen this before, and is it possible to fix?

there is an updated version of the S-63 plug-in due for the next days.
Please test this one first.

The warnings shall not prevent the charts from being installed.

Next we observed from a different user that a S-63 Navionics By Chartworld set was composed by 12.500 tiny cells.
With the new version of the S-63 PI this set did install (19 hours on my PC to install), but will be basically unusable.
Depending on which set this might be less, but I fear to see a similar case here.
You can check how many entries the enc_root file has.

You are aware about the oeSENC charts for Norway?

Thank you for the swift answer. I will try the new plugin when it arrives.

Did not sound good for the chartworld charts with 19 hours of install. My root file has aprox 300 entries I think - will check when I am back home.

I am aware of the norwegian oeSENC charts, but I did not see them until after I bought update subsciption for Chartworld - was hoping to use Chartworld for one more year and then switch to oeSENC....

Hi,

Unfortunately the new plugin did not do the trick. I uninstalled the old plugin. Removed the S63 folder under c:\ProgramData\OpenCPN, and rebooted. Imported permits, then cells.

Charts is not showing after restart of OpenCPN.

Will a fresh install do the trick? Should I backup and remove everything?

What does the S-63 chart cell tab say? Are the permits present?

Did you see any messages when installing permits and cells?

Activate log (that is a new option of the plug-in) and let us see the results please by remitting the opencpn.log file.

Have you checked/confirmed the User Permit and Install Permit in Settings->Charts->S63 Charts->Keys ??
