...and for answer related to "depth setting" points and CM93

points 1/2 OK understood
point 3 : problem still occurs on my system
I set "safety depth" at 9 meters displays is OK
I close opencpn : I find S52_MAR_SAFETY_CONTOUR=9 in init file
then I re-start
"safety depth" display is limited at 5 meters line
I click on "tool box" and then OK without doing anything .
Now the depth safety display is good at 9 meters line (if instead of OK , I click "cancel" the display is still at 5 meters )
If I set less that 5 meters , the same behavior . That means when opening opencpn, safety depth is always 5 , whatever is the parameter

You have to restart the programme to make the language change effective.

Current cvs installation fails, with a message that the file "data/doc/help.html" does not exist. Possibly the installation of the po files should happen after this point.

But my former build (2 days ago) did not seem to install them either, at lease not inside /usr/share/opencpn/ or /usr/share/locale.

Dropping da_DK.po in /usr/share/locale/da/LC_MESSAGES (and restarting) did not help either. Maybe I am missing something? Though I would find that odd, I run most programs in danish translations, including a few gtk based ones.

dooh, my bad, wrong file, i need the .mo of course.

Still, it would be smart with ./configure switch to select one or more translations to be installed

Just compiled the latest from CVS.

I get this error when trying to open the help file:

Malformed URL http:/usr/local/share/opencpn/doc/index.html

I suppose it ought to be something like

file:///usr/local/.....

sorry for the danish output, the complaint is "cp: can't do stat() on ..., no such file or directory"
