It's a little puzzling how such a more powerful machine couldn't handle the extra text/symbols and you experience delays!
In my Win10, ocpn 4.6.1 sometimes flies and sometimes it has a 3 sec delay; occasionally,it freezes with "not responding" for ever with 30-40% CPU time and 80 MB memory. All other functions of the unit run normally. After restarting, sometimes​ it runs fast sometimes slow. Plugins (draw_pi,watchdog and the inline pi) have been added and removed in stages so that I can deduce the reason for this behavior!! CM63 maps and some .kap maps. So far no clues other than I believe this unit does not like ocpn! And, I got it specifically to be the boat computer! (PIPO X9).
Anyone else notice something similar?
